This is the fifth day in Lugano. The beauty of the place is striking as I hope the pictures can portray. Today Peggy and I walked down our hill to the city on the lake. The pictures will be mostly in sequence. The school and our apartment are both on the Collina D'Oro (hill of gold), which looks over the lake and town.

So here we leave our seventies apartment. It is light and comfortable, and the interior is is better looking than the exterior.

We start walking down the street to our nearest bus stop.

A few pictures of the campus as we pass by going down the hill. Peggy's nurse space is in the big new building on the hill with the salmon colored building in front of it. We live 3 minutes walk from there.

Here are some photos of our walk continuing down the hill from campus.

Once we arrive at lakeshore, after 20 minutes of walking, this is what you get. The city sits right on this beautiful lake.

Once in town, here are some shops you might recognize. Peggy did get her first fountain Coca Light at this McDonalds.

just a few more shots of the town, and then I must call it a night.

The lake temperature is 77 degrees and the swimming is great. Abby was out on one of these paddle boats the other day. It has a slide so once you are out on the water, you can slip in.
